Trey Lance now expected to start vs. Texans

While there was hope that Jimmy Garoppolo would end up suiting up for the San Francisco 49ers going up against the Houston Texans, it's time to hold the phone on that. That's because Jimmy G's thumb injury is holding him back.

Garoppolo was unable to throw or practice on Thursday. Because of this, the expectation is now that Trey Lance will get his second start of the year.
