The Green Bay Packers fanbase could use some cheering up after the team's disgraceful effort during the 2020 NFL Draft. So, how about a player who was responsible for the misery of the Chicago Bears?

On Friday, the Packers signed former Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Treyvon Hester, who tipped the ball during Bears kicker Cody Parkey's double doink in the 2019 NFC Wild Card Game.

You feeling better, Packers fans? Of course you are! Hester singlehandedly sent the once-mighty Bears into a downward spiral. Everyone initially thought that Parkey managed to perform the double doink field goal attempt on his own, but tremendous video replay showed that Hester got a fingertip on the ball as it passed the line of scrimmage.

Before his time with the Eagles, Hester was a seventh-round draft pick of the Oakland Raiders in the 2017 NFL Draft. In 14 games with the Raiders, Hester recorded 19 tackles and one forced fumble. He was waived by Oakland just before the start of the 2018 season.

After a one-year stint in Philly, Hester signed with their NFC East rivals, the Washington Redskins, where he recorded just eight tackles and one sack in 15 games (zero starts). At the conclusion of the season, Washington refused to place a restricted free agent tender on Hester, thus allowing him to hit the open market.

Everything has been doom and gloom for Packers fans lately, but bringing in the bane of Bears fans' existence will certainly help them cope with their front office's incompetence.

Congratulations to Hester on officially becoming a Green Bay hero!
