Trinity Rodman powers the USWNT over Japan at the Olympics
Rodman has been brilliant in France.
Trinity Rodman is proving to be a hero for the U.S. Women's National Team this summer. In the quarterfinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Emma Hayes needed someone to deliver for her late in the contest against Japan.
It looked like we were potentially headed for penalty kicks. However, Rodman, who has been on fire for the red, white and blue, had other ideas. In extra time, Rodman scored a world-class goal to power the USA to the semifinals. Boom.
This was a perfect finish from Rodman. Crystal Dunn caught her in space and then Rodman did the rest. The Japanese goalie dove full extension to try and post a remarkable save, but nothing was going to prevent that ball from reaching the back of the net. Take a bow, Ms. Rodman.
