Troy Polamalu Jokingly Accuses Charlie Weis and Patriots of Having Steelers' Playbook Ahead of Time

Former Pittsburgh Steelers great Troy Polamalu is down in Miami waiting to hear if he will be chosen for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 2020 class. In the meantime, he's not simply going throught the motions with his media appearances. On SiriusXM Radio, he jokingly suggested that the New England Patriots knew which plays were coming ahead of time whenever they played the Steelers.
Here is Troy Polamalu telling Charlie Weis earlier today that the Patriots cheated when he was the OC there. lol #Steelers ??

Polamalu: "That's because you guys had our playbook, by the way. A big asterisk next to those play fakes." pic.twitter.com/w2IR3kuJrm
Former Pats offensive coordinator Charlie Weis mentioned how the Patriots liked to use play-action against Polamalu because he couldn't help but bite at the fakes. The Steelers legend responded by saying the Patriots must have had the playbook already, eliciting laughter from the panel.
Charlie Weiss told Solomon Wilcox this AM that while with the Patriots as their OC they couldn't run against the #Steelers because of Troy Polamalu.

Weiss: "What we could do is play-action pass because he couldn't help but put his nose up there."
The comment was seemingly made in jest, but that won't stop Steelers fans from considering the possibility, however remote and unsupported by fact, that cheating was afoot.
Polamalu still found a way to help lead his team to two Super Bowl wins during his time in Pittsburgh, so all's well that ends well. And by the time the night is over, he's likely to receive the ultimate validation: a ticket to enshrinement in Canton.
