Tua Tagovailoa Has Perfect Mindset Ahead of NFL Combine
By Scott Rogust

The NFL's 2020 draft class is one of the most loaded in recent memory. Yet, there's one huge wildcard amongst them all: Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Once a consensus No. 1 overall pick, Tagovailoa suffered a devastating hip injury in his junior season, leaving his draft stock in flux.
Even with that uncertainty, Tagovailoa has the perfect mindset heading into the NFL Scouting Combine next month. He's going to Indianapolis not to win the individual drills, but to pass his medical tests.
Tua Tagovailoa, via #SBLive on @nflnetwork: I'll be participating in the combine but my main goal is not to win the 40, not to win the bench press but to win my medical. I'm going to go over there looking to win my medical and then go in and interview with the teams.

That's the positivity and confidence we can all use in our lives.
Tagovailoa continued, saying that he's hoping to host a Pro day for prospective teams in late March or early April.
When it comes to the individual drills, that doesn't necessarily matter for Tagovailoa. NFL teams have seen what he's capable of when fully healthy. They're just concerned about his medical update, after he dislocated his hip while facing Mississippi State back in November.

If he's deemed good to go, he'll be a top five selection, with the Miami Dolphins being an obvious landing spot with the No. 5 overall pick. We also can't rule out quarterback-needy teams willing to trade up ahead of Miami, such as the Los Angeles Chargers or Indianapolis Colts.
With such a big day approaching, NFL teams have to love what they're hearing from Tagovailoa.
