Tua Tagovailoa’s Latest Hip Update Was ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’

Coveted NFL prospect Tua Tagovailoa arrived at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Combine with a world of questions pertaining to his recovery from November hip surgery.
During a press conference, the former Alabama gunslinger revealed that he expects to be medically cleared by March 9, and even plans on being all systems go for the Crimson Tide's pro day later that month. Well, Tagovailoa's comeback story continued with more good news from Indianapolis.
According to insider Ian Rapoport, the 21-year-old signal caller received glowing reports from teams that examined him, adding that his MRI results came back clean, there has been no blood flow loss, and the fracture is healed.

Ever since he went down in a heap against Mississippi State, Tua's health has been one of, if not the, most discussed NFL Draft storyline. Quarterback-needy teams that were yearning for a positive assessment from Indy got just what the doctor ordered.
On Tuesday, Tagovailoa told reporters that he plans on hosting his own personal pro day for NFL teams on April 9, which would take place exactly one month after he presumes to be cleared for full workouts.

With the draft scheduled for April 23, that's a tremendous idea for the Hawaii native. Given how significantly things have progressed of late, we'll just expect good news regarding Tua's health from this point forward.
