Tua Tagovailoa Leaves Davis-Wade Stadium in Ambulance After Suffering Hip Injury

Initially, it didn't look good for Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa Saturday against Mississippi State when he needed to be carted off the field after injuring his hip. And it wasn't simply a case of erring on the side of caution.
The superstar quarterback has now left Davis-Wade Stadium in an ambulance.
Nobody knows the severity of the injury just yet, but he appeared to be writhing in significant pain. Getting carted off the field and subsequently needing be taken to a hospital is not a bad sign. It's worth wondering if he'll be playing much football the rest of this season.
If Tagovailoa can't return for the stretch run, Mac Jones will get the first opportunity. He had only has 472 passing yards and four touchdowns entering today's game. To say there's no like-for-like replacement for a star like Tua is a serious understatement, and football fans across the nation are all wishing him the very best as he deals with this troubling ailment.
