Tua Tagovailoa slams Brian Flores over their time in Miami together

For a while now, countless Miami Dolphins fans have been made quite aware of how sour the relationship was between former head coach Brian Flores and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. These days, Tagovailoa could not be happier that Mike McDaniel is in town.

That's because, per the fifth-year signal-caller, Flores essentially did everything he could to try and bring him down early on in his career. While speaking on The Dan LeBatard Show, Tagovailoa indeed didn't hold back in discussing how negative it was working with Flores, claiming he consistently told him he sucked and didn't even belong in Miami. Goodness.

Tagovailoa is still working on getting all the negative talk out of his system. Flores seemed ready to do anything possible to replace him as the starter, but Miami ended up sticking with Tagovailoa and Flores was let go.

Now, McDaniel is running the show and the Dolphins have Super Bowl aspirations in 2024. It just goes to show what a massive difference good coaching can make.
