VIDEO: Tua Tagovailoa Shows off Pocket Presence and Footwork in Post-Injury Workout Clip
By Mark Powell

Doubting Tua Tagovailoa might've been a mistake. The former Alabama signal-caller is coming off a hip injury which ended his junior season. Since then, he's undergone surgery and entered the NFL Draft, where he's projected to be a top-5 pick despite those injury concerns. With April's showcase nearing, and access to his workouts restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tagovailoa posted a short Twitter video showing off his pocket presence.

When healthy, Tagovailoa is arguably just as talented as Joe Burrow. Yet, a lack of accessibility to workouts and a cancelled Pro Day have him in the conversation for the No. 2 QB in this class with Justin Herbert. Whether that's fair or not, NFL teams are questioning whether they can count on him to stay healthy moving forward as the potential face of their franchise.

Despite shopping around for the No. 1 overall pick, the Dolphins are still the likely landing spot for Tagovailoa. If those plans change, it's still unlikely he makes it past the Chargers at pick No. 5.
For now, Tagovailoa is ignoring the haters and remains committed to his rehab.
