TV Station Rips Kyrie Irving for Not Playing Against Celtics With Funny Kemba Walker Graphic
By Karl Rasmussen
In case you weren't aware, Kyrie Irving wasn't in attendance for the Nets' game at TD Garden against the Celtics. Well, Boston fans didn't care one bit, as they mercilessly booed their former point guard throughout the night.
One TV station even took a jab at Irving's absence from the game by displaying a graphic which compared his stats on the night to that of Celtics' new point guard Kemba Walker.
The graphic hilariously stated that Kemba had outscored Kyrie 39-0 on Wednesday night, which we guess is factual.
While Irving obviously didn't put up any points while sidelined with a shoulder injury, the TV station couldn't hold back on the opportunity to have some fun at his expense.
Kemba, on the other hand, had arguably his best night in a Celtics uniform. The 39-point performance was even more inspiring considering the scary injury Walker sustained just a few nights prior.
Irving did eventually speak out against all of the criticism he received after the game in a serious Instagram story.
