Twins Double-A Affiliate Pulls Wild Airbnb Stunt That's Actually Freaking Brilliant
By Sam Dunn

If you weren't hip to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, you need to get caught up. There may be no baseball happening on this side of the Pacific Ocean, but this hasn't stopped this very special Florida panhandle team from creating new revenue streams.
If you hop on Airbnb, you now have the option to stay at their stadium, Admiral Jack Fetterman Field at Vince J. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park.

For $1,500 per night, guests staying at the ballpark will have full access to the clubhouse, a large bedroom with 10 beds, the batting cage, and the field itself. pic.twitter.com/oANl6UTP4e
Need a unique venue for your bachelor party weekend? Fetterman Field is here for you! 10 beds and some pro-level facilities -- including a newly renovated clubhouse -- for $1,500 is a pretty solid deal, all things considered.
Bats, balls, and helmets are included, but it's not clear at this time if sunflower seeds, Big League Chew, and smokeless tobacco products are as well. Perhaps bringing your own just in case is the best policy.

Located at Community Maritime Park on the edge of Pensacola Bay, Admiral Fetterman Field offers some nice views, plenty of nearby beach options, and is just a few blocks south of downtown Pensacola.
What are you waiting for? The Twins organization is extending you a compelling opportunity. This venue isn't likely to be used for any formal baseball activities for at least a couple months. It's time to live like a Blue Wahoo.
