Twins Star Miguel Sano Accused of Kidnapping and Beating up Man in Wild Incident

A truly bizarre story concerning Minnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano surfaced late Tuesday night. Initial reports claimed that the 27-year-old slugger was accused of allegedly kidnapping and beating up a man from San Pedro de Macorís in the Dominican Republic.
This is where it gets really twisted.
The report alleges that Sano was holding the man by the name of Raudy Sanchez for a ransom of $10 million. Full disclosure: there's a man with the same name in the Toronto Blue Jays farm system, but as of this writing we are not entirely sure if it's him.

Once Sano caught wind of the charges, however, he reached out to reporters to tell them his side of the story. According to the 2017 All-Star, Sanchez and another friend raped his 8-year-old brother. The Twins star also asserted that he did not kidnap anyone and he will hold a press conference in San Pedro de Macorís on Wednesday to attempt to clear the air.
