Twins' Pitching Staff Was Historically Terrible Against the Yankees Tuesday Night
By Daniel Marcillo

Tuesday night's game between the New York Yankees was one for the ages...for the hitters, at least.
The Minnesota Twins' pitching staff failed to provide any consistency and put up numbers they never want to look back at.
Twins lost, 14-12. Their pitchers combined for a Win Probability Added of -1.67, which is the worst pitching total for any game in the 59-year history of the Minnesota Twins.

Felt worse.
A -1.67 win probability actually makes the pitching seem better than it actually was. In 10 innings, Minnesota's pitching staff allowed 14 runs on 20 hits and six walks. This all lead to an ugly 12.60 ERA for a pitching staff that actually has a top-five team ERA in the AL.
Only two of the seven Twins' pitchers had a scoreless outing. Cody Stashak was making his first big league outing and seemed to be the only one who belonged on the pitching staff. He hurled two scoreless innings with three strikeouts.
Cody Stashak's big-league debut: Two scoreless innings. 92.2 mph average fastball. 24 of 30 pitches for strikes, including eight swinging strikes. Three strikeouts, including Aaron Judge and Edwin Encarnacion. And his family went nuts in the crowd. pic.twitter.com/hMjnFIWjSh

Blake Parker was smacked around so badly that the Twins decided to DFA him after allowing four runs and only recording an out.
And it's not going much better on Wednesday night either...
