Twins Top Pitching Prospect Could Be on Way to MLB Roster Soon

Get ready for reinforcements, Minnesota!
The AL Central-leading Minnesota Twins' highly-touted prospect Brusdar Graterol could be on his way to the MLB sometime this month, assistant GM Rob Antony told SKOR North on Tuesday.
Uncomfortably just 3.5 games ahead of the Cleveland Indians, the Twins have already made a few moves at the trade deadline to refurbish a shaky bullpen. It's now possible they'll utilize one of their most electric arms in a limited role to keep his innings down.
Minnesota made trades for two former San Francisco Giants relief pitchers in Sergio Romo and Sam Dyson at the deadline. While Romo has been successful in his first few outings, Dyson went down with biceps tendinitis after surrendering six runs in his first .2 innings pitched.
In almost 50 innings of Double-A action, Graterol has impressed, logging a 1.89 ERA and 8.69 K/9. Considered one of the MLB's top prospects by many, Graterol will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on a tight divisional race.
While Graterol's role will likely be subjected to the bullpen, per Antony, the flame-thrower's electric arsenal should be effective no matter the inning.
