Twins vs Braves MLB Live Stream Reddit for Monday's Series Opener
By Daniel Marcillo
A matchup between two first place teams takes place in Minnesota Monday night. The Atlanta Braves will try to out-slug the power-hitting Minnesota Twins in the first of their three-game series.
How to Live Stream The Game?
Jake Odorizzi's first pitch will be delivered at 8:10 p.m. ET from Target Field. The game will air on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports North, but can also be streamed using the MLB Streams subreddit.
Braves Lineup
Ronald Acuña Jr. will lead things off for the Braves and is sneaking up on a 30/30 season. He is just three home runs and five stolen bases shy. Brian McCann will bat fifth and is 13-for-31 (.419) against Odorizzi in his career.
The Braves ace, Mike Soroka, will take the ball tonight. He is 10-2 with a 2.37 ERA, which is the second best in baseball. Soroka has a 1.20 ERA on the road compared to a 4.08 ERA at home, so the start in Minnesota could be another gem.
Twins Lineup
Jorge Polanco is in the two-hole for the Twins. When he hits in the second spot, he hits .312, more than 50 points higher than when he bats leadoff. The ageless Nelson Cruz will bat third and is hitting .447 with 10 home runs over the last two weeks.
Odorizzi is on the rubber for the Twins and has put together a solid year. He is 12-5 with a 3.73 ERA in 108.2 innings. His month of July was far from solid, his ERA was 7.43 in 23 innings, so hopefully he can turn things around in his first start of August.
This will be the first time these two teams face off this season. The Twins are 4-6 against NL East teams and the Braves are 4-4 against AL Central teams this year.
