Twins vs Indians MLB Live Stream Reddit for Series Opener
By Max Scoli
The Cleveland Indians (50-38) will look to shorten the gap between them and the first place Minnesota Twins (56-33) in the AL Central as they begin their second half of the MLB season.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET and will take place at Progressive Field in Cleveland, OH. The game will be aired on FOX Sports North and SportsTime Ohio, with live streams available via the MLB Streams subreddit.
Indians Lineup
MLB All-Star starter Francisco Lindor will start things off for the Tribe, followed by Oscar Mercado. Carlos Santana will bat third, and has been red-hot as of late. In his last seven contests, Santana is batting .370 with one homer, four RBI, and a single stolen base. Jason Kipnis is in the clean-up spot despite recent struggles. In the same span of games, Kipnis is hitting .192. So why is he batting fourth? It may be because he is batting .419 in 31 career at-bats against RHP Kyle Gibson.
Mike Clevinger will make his eighth career start against the Twins, a team that has struggled to figure out the young pitcher. He holds a 2-2 record to go along with a 3.05 ERA in 10 appearances against Minnesota.
Twins Lineup
Cleveland will go with Max Kepler, Jorge Polanco, and Nelson Cruz in the top third of the order. Cruz failed to make the All-Star team for just the second time in the last seven years, but not on account of a lack of production. So far this season, the two-time Silver Slugger is hitting .279 with 16 HR and 46 RBI. The hottest hitter in Minnesota's lineup is Miguel Sano, who has maintained a .375 BA to go along with a homer and three RBI in his last seven games.
Kyle Gibson will be on the hill for the Twins. In the first half of the season, Gibson held a 4.09 ERA while recording eight wins and 94 strikeouts. He will need to pay special attention to Francisco Lindor, who is hitting .382 against him in 34 career plate appearances.
