Twins Lineup

RHP Michael Pineda will take the mound for Minnesota Sunday afternoon. He's posted a 4-6 record with an ERA of 4.76 and 62 strikeouts this season.

As for the Twins lineup, second baseman Jonathan Schoop will sit out for the second straight day with ankle soreness, as 2B Luis Arraez will make his second straight start in Schoop's absence. Catcher Willians Astudillo will also be out for Sunday's matchup, being replaced by Jason Castro.

Royals Lineup

Right hander Homer Bailey will be on the mound for Kasas City Sunday afternoon. He's posted an even 6-6 record with a 4.82 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 2019.

As for the Kansas City bats, both first baseman Lucas Duda and catcher Cam Gallagher will sit out of Sunday's ball game. Jorge Soler will take Duda's place in the DH role as center fielder Billy Hamilton has also been inserted into the lineup at ninth. Martin Maldonado will re-take his spot behind the plate and bat eighth.
