TY Hilton was a hot name in the rumor mill over the early months of the offseason, but the Indianapolis Colts receiver wants to do everything he can to stay in Indiana.

Hilton said this week that he wants only one more contract before he retires, and he thinks that running it back with Indy would be the best possible outcome, as he wants to be a "Colt for life."

Some figured that the selection of USC's Michael Pittman Jr. in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft helped get the wheels turning on a Hilton trade, but the pass-catcher's desire to remain in town should all but force GM Chris Ballard to try to sign him to a new contract.

The former FIU star recorded just 501 yards last season, but that was mostly due to the struggles of Jacoby Brissett and Hilton's injury woes. Fully healthy and playing alongside Pittman and Parris Campbell, Indy's passing game should take a notable stride forward in 2020 with future Hall of Famer Philip Rivers under center.

Hilton has given the Colts almost a decade of quality production, and it doesn't sound like he wants to leave. This is a perfect scenario for a Colts team with a bunch of receivers that are very much learning the ropes in 2020.
