Tyrese Maxey saved the 76ers season in thrilling win over New York

The crowd at Madison Square Garden was left stunned on Tuesday night and Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey was the main reason why. In Game 5 of the first round, Philly needed to post a win to keep its season alive.
Down late, Maxey drilled a 3-pointer to force overtime. Then in the OT session, the 76ers were the better team, posting a 112-106 victory. Maxey finished with 46 points. Plain and simple, he carried his team to a victory.

Thanks to Maxey's efforts, there will be a Game 6 in this series, with things being scheduled for Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly. Countless eyes will be on Maxey to see if he can help the 76ers force a Game 7. Plenty of Knicks fans are worried right now and understandably so.
