UFC Briefly Displays Amanda Nunes as No. 1 Overall P4P Fighter Due to Technical Difficulties
By Evan Wolff

The UFC is a constantly changing organization, with its star fighters shifting seemingly every week. The only stability within the organization, especially after Conor McGregor shook up the world again, was Jon Jones' reign on top of the pound-for-pound rankings.
Well, it would seem that the UFC had a shake-up at the top of the rankings, even if it was for a brief fleeting moment. Due to a screw-up by the UFC, Amanda Nunes reigned superior at the top of the UFC world as the best fighter on the planet, showing up as the top pound-for-pound fighter on the site's rankings.

The error was quickly corrected by the UFC, and Jon Jones was returned to the top of the rankings after a quick repost. It turns out the UFC was trying to make a women's pound-for-pound ranking, but accidentally pushed all of the fighters together. Oops!

Who knows? Maybe it wasn't a mistake and Amanda Nunes rightly deserves her place at the top of the rankings, regardless of gender.
