Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo will get in the Octagon full of intent, with the winner walking away with Henry Cejudo's vacated flyweight championship belt.

The night of fights at the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Va. will get started with the prelims kicking off at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The main card will be at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN+ and the Reddit MMA Streams subreddit community.

Figueiredo -- "The God of War" -- is currently No. 3 in the official UFC flyweight rankings, as the Brazilian star has just one loss in his MMA career and has followed that loss up with two straight victories. As of this writing, however, he enters as a modest underdog.

Benavidez's loss to Sergio Pettis is clearly in the rearview mirror, as he himself has three straight victories, including a win over Jussier Formiga in June. This path to the title has been a long one, but in many ways, UFC's 125-pound division was created a decade ago precisely with a guy like him in mind. Destiny is now for the 35-year-old now that the strap is up for grabs.

Elsewhere on the card, don't miss two women's featherweight bouts that will help clarify the pecking order of challengers behind GOAT Amanda Nunes: Felicia Spencer vs. Zarah Fairn dos Santos and Megan Anderson vs. Norma Dumont Viana.
