VIDEO: UFC President Dana White Hopped on Instagram Live and Tried to Convince Tom Brady to Join Raiders
By Adam Weinrib
If Tom Brady decides to move to Las Vegas and join the Raiders for his age-43 season, we're fairly confident the final nail in the coffin won't be a widely-broadcast surprise phone call with Dana White, but crazier things have happened (they haven't). Regardless of the level of sway at play here, White phoned TB12 on Wednesday, and we're not sure if he sneak-attacked him or informed him it'd be broadcast live on Instagram. Brady was plenty cagey, as always.
"The facility is incredible," White screams. "It's a 45-minute flight from LA. Your kids and your family could live there. We want you to come to the Raiders...uh..."
That'll do it! Was this anything like his phone call with Belichick?
Brady can be heard dropping a soft, "I love you" during White's sales pitch before announcing he and his family would be spending the next 10-12 days together on a vacation of sorts, then apologizing to White that they couldn't get all the kinks of IG Live out prior to the call.
"You shittin' me right now?" White yells at the platform, before signing off.
Yeah, that'll do it! Goodbye, New England! Brady's a Raider.
