UFC's Mark and Montana De La Rosa Set to Become First Married Couple to Fight on the Same Card
By Sam Dunn

On Saturday night, fight fans will set their sights on Rio Rancho, New Mexico for another UFC Fight Night -- and while Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz's light heavyweight main event is sure to attract the most eyes, there's a historic narrative in play that demands our attention.
We're about to see the first MMA fight card that includes a married couple: Montana De La Rosa and husband Mark.
#RT @espnmma: Mark and Montana De La Rosa will be the first husband and wife to compete on the same UFC card at #UFCRioRancho.

Mark is leading off Saturday night's prelim card in flyweight action against Raulian Paiva, while Montana takes on Mara Romero Borella on the main card in a women's flyweight bout.
Yes, both husband and wife are fighting at 125 pounds. How adorable is that?

On top of it all, they've found time in their shared training schedule to take care of their daughter, Zaylyn, though Mark concedes that Montana deserves the lion's share of the credit.
"Montana is a super wife, super mom,” Mark said, per UFC.com. “We have a tough training schedule, but as soon as we get home, she’s no longer a fighter. She’s an amazing wife and amazing mother."
These two have already made history simply by booking fights on the same night. If they can each manage a win under the bright lights in Rio Rancho, they'll own a page in the record books that you may as well etch in stone.
