UFC Star Jessica Andrade Has Car Stolen at Gunpoint in Brazil
By Charles Nason

UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade and her wife were robbed at gunpoint in a Brazilian town just outside of Rio de Janeiro. The two lost their car along with several personal belongings after being mugged by unknown assailants.
Both women were unharmed in the incident and unfortunately lost their Honda HRV and smartphones. Luckily, the UFC star had insurance on the vehicle. The same assailants that robbed Andrade and her wife, Fernanda Gomes, reportedly used the stolen vehicle to mug someone else Thursday morning.

Gomes addressed the situation on her Facebook page stating, "Friends, our car was stolen, and they took our phones with it, we are out of reach for now, except for messenger. Anyone who can, please share this so we can find the car. We are safe at home".

Andrade was recently crowned UFC strawweight champion after knocking out Rose Namajunes at UFC 237 earlier this month. The town in which the carjacking took place, Niteroi, has been Andrade's home for six years. She is yet to comment publicly on the incident.
