Unnamed Coach Throws Surprising Shade at Tua Tagovailoa and Alabama

The Alabama Crimson Tide are the envy of the college football world.
They've got a superstar quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa, a legendary head coach in Nick Saban and the pedigree to draw in virtually any recruit they want.
But an unnamed coach chose to throw some surprising shade at both Tagovailoa and the program as a whole.
Anonymous coaches spoke candidly about Alabama ahead of the 2019 season, and they raised some concerns.

"I think Tua needs to humble himself," said the coach. "I think he did some bad things in the bowl game that cost the team because he put himself ahead of the team."
He went on to say that he could "see them losing 2-3 games" in the upcoming season.
It's natural to be jealous of others' success, especially if you're forced to watch them dominate year in and year out, but that's no reason to throw shade at a rising star and a wildly successful program.

Tagovailoa was one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the college football world last year, and there's no reason for that to change in the upcoming season.
The Crimson Tide have pieced together a legacy of success under Saban, and it's surprising to say the least that a coach would think that both the program and its quarterback need a lesson in humility.
