Unnamed Scout Claims MLB Will Have to Go to Extreme Measures for Security When Astros Visit Yankees

The Houston Astros have been under fire for the past few months after it was revealed they illegally stole sings during the 2017 season (and potentially beyond as well). The New York Yankees, who lost to the Astros in seven games in the 2017 ALCS, naturally feel as though they were cheated out of the chance to win an MLB-record 28th championship.

Apparently, their fans feel the same way. An unnamed MLB scout claimed that the league will need to upgrade security to stop the fans from rioting against the Astros.

While Yankees fans, like most in baseball, can be ruthless...this is just ridiculous. Will there be rowdy fans? Of course, there are at every stadium. But to claim the Astros need SWAT teams for protection? That is just crazy.

If the MLB really wants to protect the Astros, they should implement concrete rules against beaning opposing players, as they are bound to get plunked more than any other team in the league as retribution for cheating.

Good luck with that, though. We all know that the Astros' worst enemies are not the fans, but the opposing pitchers' fastballs.
