USWNT Star Carli Lloyd Calls Out Autograph Promoter Who Allegedly Never Paid Her
By Max Scoli

Carli Lloyd wants her money, and she wants it right now.
The USWNT star called out a promoter with GT Sports Marketing after she claims she never received her pay for an autograph signing nearly two years ago.
Hey Gary....what do ya think, time to pay $ me for my autograph appearance I did for you almost 2 years ago??? Agent and attorney have contacted you and nothing. I’m sure you pay your other athletes. @GTSportsMkt #DoTheRightThing

Where do they get off thinking they can scam Carli? She provides a service, and it's only right that GT Sports Management uphold their end of the deal.
Lloyd is a two-time FIFA World Player of the Year, two-time World Cup Champion, and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist. She also became the first player to score a goal in six straight Women's World Cup games. Clearly a high-profile athlete, this company is (allegedly) treating her like a no name. If true, that's unacceptable!
Happy birthday, @CarliLloyd.

With her attorney and agent on speed dial, she seems determined to get what she believes is owed to her.
We're all for athletes being treated with respect instead of just a means to rake in some cash, and assuming what Lloyd alleges is accurate, she ought to receive payment fairly quickly.
