VIDEO: Kobe Bryant's Wife Vanessa and Daughter Natalia Talk About His Basketball Hall of Fame Election

Reports floated around for days about the honor, but on Saturday, the NBA made it official that Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant would be inducted to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020. Bryant tragically passed along with his daughter Gianna in January, so ESPN had on his wife Vanessa and daughter Natalia to speak on his behalf about his Hall of Fame induction.

Yet another moment of bravery for the Bryant family.
Kobe and Gianna were killed in a freak helicopter accident on Jan. 26, 2020, which shook the entire world.
Vanessa has shown how strong she is through all of this after delivering an emotional eulogy during his public memorial back on Feb. 24, and now speaking openly again when graciously accepting her late husband's election.

After all they've been through, it's heartwarming to see Kobe will be honored, and once again the basketball community will provide support for the Bryant family.
