Vanessa Bryant Reveals Final Unopened Letter From Kobe on Her Birthday

Despite myriad tragic circumstances, Vanessa Bryant is doing her best to celebrate her 38th birthday on Tuesday. Though nearly impossible, a gift left behind by her husband Kobe may have brightened things up the smallest amount.

Vanessa shared a post on Instagram revealing that Kobe had left her a letter before he passed, which she waited to open until Tuesday (after only discovering it on Monday).

This is a devastating post, of course, but also touching at the same time.

Hopefully, this provided her some sense of solace in what has been an impossibly tough year for her and her family.

This has been an especially tough week for the family, as the late Gianna Bryant would have turned 14 years old on May 1. Her mother shared a tribute on Instagram to the young woman known as "Gigi."

Finding this letter had to be tough, but as she said, it gave her something to look forward to on her birthday. Kobe continues to live on in so many ways and the fact that he left the love of his life one last letter is just the latest example.
