Copa America action continues on Saturday when Venezuela and Peru, the final two sides in Group A, meet in a potential group-defining match at Arena do Gremio in Porto Alegre, Brazi.

Following the tournament-opener between hosts Brazil and Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru close out the first round of action in Group A in a game that many see as a battle for second position in the group. Brazil is a heavy favorite and Bolivia isn't expected to do much.

Venezuela enters the tournament in lukewarm form, but is fresh off a convincing 3-0 friendly win against the United States in a game that saw all 3 goals scored inside the first 36 minutes.

Peru hasn't impressed recently either, as they meet Venezuela having won just two of their last five with a 3-0 loss to Colombia last week fresh on their minds.

Both sides will be looking to advance a step further than they went in Centenario in 2016, as both suffered quarterfinal exits -- Venezuela a 4-1 loss to Argentina, and Peru a crushing loss in penalties to Colombia.

Though it'll be just the second day of the tournament, this match may have some of the biggest implications of the group stage, with second place in Group A very much up for grabs.
