With a little over 30 seconds remaining, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo hit running back Jeff Wilson Jr., who burst past linebacker Chandler Jones in coverage to find paydirt and give the 49ers the late lead.

Why Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury made Jones covering a running back, we'll never know. But the 49ers certainly won't complain. That's the winner, and it takes them to 9-1. Survival mode on a short week. Whatever it takes!
