VIDEO: Aaron Boone Gifts Prince Harry and Megan Markle's Baby a Yankees Jersey
By Sean Facey

Aaron Boone seems to have taken on the role of international ambassador for the Yankees! In addition to his managerial duties, Boone engaged in a bit of diplomacy by gifting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a Yankees jersey for their baby, Archie, as they visited the Yankees' clubhouse ahead of the opening game of the London Series.

It seems that he's doing his best to make sure that the royal baby is raised to root for the guys in pinstripes.
The jersey gift is just one of a slew of interesting and fun storylines that surround baseball's foray into England. Markle, for example, might actually be related to Boston Red Sox star Mookie Betts.
Hopefully baby Archie and his family take a liking to the sport thanks to the jersey. If baseball is to continue its outward expansion, then support from public figures like the British royal family is absolutely vital.
Aaron Boone gave Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan a gift for their new child. Prince Harry said it was better than the Red Sox’ gift. https://t.co/7OaUlHVpS0

Still, it's a kind gesture from the Yankees' skipper and a fun way to give the royal family a memento of the momentous occasion of the first MLB game in the UK.
