VIDEO: Aaron Judge Crushes Home Run Over the Monster to Set Yankees' New Single-Season Record
By Scott Rogust

The New York Yankees have been flashing the deep ball plenty on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox. Gleyber Torres and Mike Tauchman have hit homers on Sunday Night Baseball, and star slugger Aaron Judge decided to join in on the fun by getting back to his pulling roots. In the top of the fifth inning, Judge took a Ryan Brasier pitch deep to left field, soaring over the Green Monster for a solo home run, extending the Yankees' lead to 7-4 and setting a record in the process.

And yes, in case you were wondering, that blast breaks the Yankees' all-time record for most home runs in a season, set...just last year.
Aaron Judge's homer is the #Yankees' 268th of the year, surpassing the franchise record they set in 2018.

The New York Yankees key to success is hitting the ball at will, and that's been exemplified on Sunday night.
