Aaron Judge has handled himself perfectly in New York since his breakout 2017 rookie season. No moment or spotlight has ever seemed too big for him. And if the slugger's pre-ALDS press conference is any indication of how much he "gets" this whole Yankee thing, Judge is on his way to dominating in October.

While talking about the electric vibe of Yankee Stadium during October baseball, Judge said he almost feels the presence of some "ghosts of Yankees past" while on the field.

Naturally, any baseball fan is now getting goosebumps thinking of eternal energies of Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra and other Yankees legends hanging low over the proceedings.

The stakes are always high for the 27-time World Series champions. Any season in the Bronx that does not result in a championship ring is considered a failure. Just ask Joe Girardi.

With that in mind, Judge may be the best guy to lead New York to its 28th championship. Some have even compared the third-year slugger to Derek Jeter in terms of poise and temperament.

While comparing Judge to the future Hall of Famer may be lofty, expecting a big performance from him during the postseason is more than reasonable.
