VIDEO: Aaron Judge Sounds Optimistic Discussing Recovery From Oblique Injury
By Charles Nason
New York Yankees star slugger Aaron Judge gave a brief update on his injury status as he works his way back to the playing field. Judge suffered an oblique injury back on April 20th and has not played with the team since. Now, he is starting to get back on the field throwing the ball, a notable step forward.
The Yankees have still not set a definitive timeline as to when Judge will be fully healthy and ready to get back in the lineup. The superstar outfielder is still limited in his activity and has not yet started swinging the bat yet.
Judge, who remains optimistic about his recovery, has been one of the MLB's best players over the past few seasons. Unfortunately or the Bronx Bombers, he's only managed to appear in 20 games this year.
Although he remains on the injured list, Judge seems to be making good progress in his recovery. The Yankees have found ways to produce and win games without his services, so the sky will be the limit for Aaron Boone's team once the big man is finally back in business.
