VIDEO: Aaron Rodgers Adds Rushing Score and Passing TD to Jimmy Graham as Packers Pile it on Raiders
By Jerry Trotta
Anybody else think that Raiders defensive lineman Maxx Crosby is regretting trolling Aaron Rodgers after he sacked the Packers superstar quarterback way back in the first quarter on Sunday? Green Bay was leading 7-3 then. Since then, Rodgers has catapulted the Pack into a comfortable lead, and he got things started with a perfectly-executed on a bootleg rollout for a three-yard touchdown early in the third quarter that extended Green Bay's lead to 28-10.
As easy as you like from No.12 as the entire Raiders defense was convinced that he was handing the pigskin off to tailback Aaron Jones.
Roughly 10 minutes later, Rodgers was dishing out more brilliance on the gridiron as he connected with tight end Jimmy Graham for another three-yard score to give the Packers a 25-point lead.
That, ladies and gentleman, is what we call a pitch and catch. Rodgers has now totaled five touchdowns with almost a full quarter left to play and the Packers are well on their way to a 6-1 mark through seven weeks.
