VIDEO: Aaron Rodgers Backs Andrew Luck on Retirement Decision

Yet another quarterback has come out in support of Andrew Luck. The day after Tom Brady gave his wholehearted support to the Indianapolis Colts star, Green Bay Packers gunslinger Aaron Rodgers came out with a firm defense of Luck's decision to retire, even taking a shot at the fans who booed him as he walked off of the field on Saturday.
"I'm excited for him," said Rodgers. "I actually think what he did is very selfless, not selfish." He added that he "thought it would’ve been more of a standing ovation type thing and a thank you than boos" as he left Saturday's preseason game.
Luck has received an undue amount of criticism for his retirement. Plenty of people such as Doug Gottlieb have made incredibly foolish takes calling him weak-willed, when in reality it took an immense amount of strength for him to step away from the game.
Rodgers' support should be telling. He knows what Luck has gone through. He's suffered through injuries and played through pain. His backing of the retired Colts star should be enough to convince anybody that Luck made the right choice for himself.
Considering all the injuries that have plagued Luck throughout his career, this decision is in the best interest of himself and his family.
