Yes, that was Aaron! He got out of King's Landing pronto.
Rodgers confirmed his involvement with an Instagram post showing himself in costume ahead of Game of Thrones' penultimate episode.
He has wanted to make an appearance on the show for a long time, giving considerable thought to what kind of scene he would want to be involved in. "I definitely want to be killed or in one of the steamy scenes for sure," he said in an interview on The Dan Patrick Show.
Well, killed it is!
Like any GOT fan, Rodgers is eager to know how the series will come to a close. This gig may have got him a step closer.
"I have a bit of inside information about who is alive in one of the episodes, but I'll share that down the line," Rodgers said.
Time for the Season 1 play by play with Lord @AaronRodgers12 of Greenwater Bay.

This isn't the first non-football media appearance by the two-time NFL MVP. You may recall his roles in various State Farm commercials, where the quarterback's popular touchdown celebration is prominently featured, called the "Discount Double Check."
This is, however, the first time he's been scorched alive on live television. Somewhere, there is a Detroit Lions fan nodding in approval.
