VIDEO: Aaron Rodgers Pulls Out Sidearmed Throw to Find Aaron Jones for Big Gain
By Michael Luciano
At least once per game, Aaron Rodgers will leave your jaw on the floor with an unbelievable play that almost no one else in the league can make. Rodgers' most amazing play of the first half against the Dallas Cowboys came as he was avoiding a blitz from cornerback Chidobe Awuzie. Rodgers turned from a quarterback into a shortstop and sidearmed it to Aaron Jones, who was able to get the ball past midfield on a 22-yard pickup.
Rodgers was channelling his inner-Pat Mahomes on this throw, or maybe it was Derek Jeter.
Either way, his arm angle on this through was certainly out of the ordinary, and it made for an extraordinary Packers first down.
