VIDEO: Aaron Rodgers Says He's a 'Big Fan' of Packers WR Jake Kumerow
By Adam Godfrey
The Green Bay Packers have made a handful of moves so far this offseason in attempt to get back to the playoffs and make a run. Their biggest move comes in the form of new head coach Matt LaFleur to help out Aaron Rodgers on the offensive side of the ball. As minicamp progresses, Rodgers seems to have found one of his new favorite targets in a second-year receiver.
Last year, wide receiver Jake Kumerow impressed everyone in the Packers organization with his minicamp performance. He carried that into the preseason for Green Bay, where he continued to make play after play for the green and yellow.
Unfortunately, Kumerow was placed on injured reserve for the beginning of the season because of a shoulder injury he was suffered during preseason. He returned to the Packers in December for five games and recorded 8 receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown.
If the chemistry keeps up, we may see Rodgers with a new favorite target for this upcoming season, which is better for the entire NFL.
