VIDEO: Aaron Rodgers Shows up to Packers Facility as Happy Gilmore Character
By Michael Luciano
Finally, after all these years, we got the Aaron Rodgers/Adam Sandler crossover we were all waiting for. As Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers rolled up at the team's annual "Welcome Lunch", the players came dressed as characters from the movie Happy Gilmore, with Rodgers opting for the "Orderly Guy."
There is some context that makes this whole scenario a bit more grounded.
Every year for the luncheon, players must arrive in costumes based on a different theme. This year, Happy Gilmore won out.
It may not be a particularly tough look to put together, as it isn't too hard to find a doctor's smock lying around, but Rodgers is pretty much a spitting image of Ben Stiller in that movie given his not quite Fu Manchu mustache.
Given that he showed up to a preseason game in Winnipeg dressed head to toe in denim, Rodgers has been putting more and more time into these costume choices.
We can't wait to see what theme is selected for next season, and if Rodgers can one-up his near-perfect costume.
