VIDEO: AAU Tournament Director Claims No Parents Complained About LeBron Dunking at Bronny's Game
By Karl Rasmussen
LeBron James can't blink an eye without stirring up some sort of conversation, whether controversial or not. In the midst of attending his son's AAU basketball game recently, LeBron decided to have a bit of fun and throw down some huge dunks during warmups, and even celebrated on the court after a nice play. Naturally, his antics went viral, and internet spectators found issue with James' actions. Well, according to the director of the AAU tournament, Gary Charles, absolutely zero parents in attendance complained about James' exploits.
Charles mentioned that James' on-court celebration wasn't even for his own son. He was actually that fired up over a nice play made by one of Bronny's teammates.
The director firmly stood in support of LeBron, citing him as a great father and vouching for the entire James family.
Leave it to the internet to churn up a storm over nothing, even when people in attendance for the actual incident were less than bothered by it.
James will never be free of scrutiny from his haters, but it's clear that people are riled up over nothing in this case. Hopefully Charles' comments will help settle this matter.
