VIDEO: Adam Eaton, Anthony Rendon and Howie Kendrick Deliver to Give Nats Big Lead Over Cardinals
By Thomas Carannante

The Washington Nationals are really looking to shut this thing down. Up 2-0 in the NLCS against the St. Louis Cardinals and back in the nation's capital, they got off to a fast start in Game 3 and already have a multi-run lead. First, Adam Eaton delivered a clutch RBI single off Jack Flaherty.

He's been huge for the Nats this postseason.
Then came old faithful, Anthony Rendon, who, with a little bit of luck, snagged an RBI double thanks to Marcell Ozuna's miscue.

And they kept the rally going! With two runners on, a ball got past Yadier Molina to get everyone in scoring position, and then Howie Kendrick happened.

4-0 Nationals.
The Nats are simply a team of destiny with all that's happened so far. The ball is finally bouncing in their favor and Nationals Park is loving it.
