VIDEO: Adam Schefter Explains How Antonio Brown's Relationship With Raiders is Affected Over Helmet
By Jerry Trotta
As the world is left waiting for the madness that is Antonio Brown's never-ending helmet saga versus the NFL to resolve itself, the All-Pro wideout continues to hinder his relationship with the Raiders. Sunday, general manager Mike Mayock sent a powerful statement to AB, telling him he needed to be all in. Brown has since returned to practice, only to file another grievance with the NFL. What does Adam Schefter think of all this? Look away, Raiders fans:
It's really no wonder why Mayock feels the way he does. After all, he gave up a plethora of future assets for the seven-time Pro-Bowler and proceeded to sign him to a three-year, $50 million contract.
Schefter made it clear there's a strain in the relationship, and things very well could never be the same for the two sides.
At this stage, it appears more than reasonable to ponder if Mayock and Co. regret pulling the trigger and trading for Brown. Thus far, he's provided nothing but headaches.
