AJ Pollock's 8th home run of the season couldn't have come at a more important time. In a deadlock game against San Diego, the Dodger center fielder blasted a solo shot to give his side the lead.

In his first year in LA, Pollock hasn't exactly shined. He has just 42 hits and 28 RBIs in 167 at-bats; however, long balls like this are exactly why the Dodgers went out to sign the 31 year-old last year.
For a guy who's battled injury most of the season, Pollock has certainly gotten himself back on track in the second half. And that can only mean good things for the team with the single best record in baseball.
