VIDEO: Albany Empire Coach Runs into End Zone and Celebrates Pick-6 With Team in Arena Bowl 32
By Sean Facey
Arena Bowl 32 on Sunday pitted the Philadelphia Soul and Albany Empire against each other in a battle for Arena Football League glory. But perhaps the best highlight to come out of the game wasn't this pick-six for Albany, but the fact that the head coach, Robert Ford, ran down the sideline stride-for-stride with his own player.
The equalizing pick was completely dwarfed by the athleticism of the man on the sidelines calling the plays. Talk about showing up your own players on the biggest stage. He completely stole the spotlight!
Ford might want to seriously consider turning into a player-manager next year. He could bring some game-changing speed to the team.
