VIDEO: Albany Kicker Stealing the Johnny Manziel Celebration in Arena Bowl 32 is a Crime on Football
By Mark Powell

How far is the Arena Football League willing to go to ensure we never watch their product ever again? In the Arena Bowl, an event we had no idea was occurring until halftime (on one of the slowest sports nights of the summer, mind you), Albany Empire kicker Adrian Trevino chose to end football as we know it.

Nothing about this is money! You work at Kroger in your spare time!
Okay, look, maybe it's unfair to bash a football league more known for folding than the on-field product. We're happy these men have jobs and get to play the game they love, but let's not pretend this is the NFL, or any high-level league. You're lying if you even claim you knew Albany had a football team, or denying you googled "does the Arena league still exist" before reading this post.
And if you're wondering, Albany won. Congratulations.

But stealing such an iconic celebration (albeit from a player who might be playing in the Arena League soon enough) as a kicker from Missouri Valley is absurd.
Hell, even Manziel retired the money sign in 2018. Where have you been?

Our rant is over for now. Plain and simple: Know your lane and stay in it, please.
