VIDEO: Albert Almora Jr. Makes Unbelievable Sliding Basket Catch on the Warning Track

The Cubs got bailed out early in their game with the Reds on Tuesday night thanks to the glove of Albert Almora Jr. The center fielder made a fantastic sliding catch, nearly crashing into the ivy, to prevent Joey Votto from logging an extra-base hit.

Chicago hadn't even gone to the plate yet and the play of the game was most likely already made by Almora Jr.

Sprinting back, Almora has to slow up as he approaches the warning track to locate the ball. When he does, he slides to avoid crashing and makes a beautiful over-the-shoulder basket catch to secure the out.

After dropping the first game of the series, the Cubs are hoping Almora's catch jump starts their team towards a win.
