The renaissance of Derek Dietrich was about to continue against Kyle Hendricks and the Chicago Cubs, but center fielder Albert Almora had other plans. One of the best defensive fielders in baseball, Almora made a crazy leaping catch that is instantly a contender for one of the best defensive plays of the year in baseball.

Almora has some legitimate concerns at the plate, as he's only hitting at a .245 clip, but his abilities patrolling center field while making some of the best catches across all of baseball can't be ignored.
