By Scott Rogust

The Houston Astros ended the Los Angeles Angels' five-game winning streak on Wednesday night, and on Thursday, they built off that momentum. In the top of the third inning, leadoff hitter George Springer hit a solo home run off Angels starter Matt Harvey to extend the Astros lead 3-0.

Houston wasn't done mashing the baseball.
In the top of the fifth with a 5-0 lead, Alex Bregman hit a solo blast off Harvey deep to left field for his 25th homer of the season.
